Big God

During the past few weeks, Amy and I had the opportunity to travel to Russia. What an amazing experience! We spent two weeks with the Russian people and had the opportunity to teach Christian leadership principles to pastors, ministry leaders and businessmen. In a country where only 2% of the population is Christian, we saw God do some amazing things. God is raising up passionate men and women, who are bringing the message of hope to the hurting, and it is changing the Russian culture.

When I look back at all that I experienced in the past few weeks, I can’t help but stand in awe of how HUGE our God is. To see people halfway across the world worship the same God that we worship just stirred up my confidence in God. So often we get caught up in how big our problems are that we forget how big our God is. The truth is that we serve a big God. Our God is big enough to be right in your living room and halfway around the world all at the same time. We serve a God who loves us with an everlasting love and who will never leave us; so, next time your problems begin to overwhelm you, remind yourself that the God you serve is bigger than any problem you may encounter!

Deuteronomy 31:6 (The Message)
"Be strong. Take courage. Don't be intimidated. Don't give them a second thought because God, your God, is striding ahead of you. He's right there with you. He won't let you down; He won't leave you."
