What kind of church is Bayside?
Bayside Community Church is a new testament, life giving, non-denominational body of believers. We exist to celebrate God's presence through worship, to communicate God's Word through evangelism, to educate God's people through discipleship, and to demonstrate God's love through ministry.

If you have any questions regarding our friendship with these ministries please contact the church.

Bayside is accountable to Gregg Surratt of Seacoast, Billy Hornsby of ARC, Chris Hodges of Church of the Highlands, Dale Brooks, and Rick Bezet of New Life Church ARK.

We also have a Board of Trustees to help ensure financial accountability.

What should I expect when visiting Bayside?
Stepping into an unfamiliar church for the first time can be a little intimidating and maybe even uncomfortable for some people. When you visit Bayside, you can expect to feel welcomed and accepted. Bayside is an intimate, and dynamic church that is filled with singles, families, college students, children, teenagers, infants, and senior adults.
Whoever you are, you will be encouraged by our passionate, full-band worship team, relevant and creative presentations of the Gospel, and life-changing prayer times that will challenge and empower you. You will notice that Bayside is very modern, up-beat, and simply put, fun, but more importantly, we are a Christ-centered church. Bayside revolves around Jesus and strives to be a Life Giving Church. We invite you to come as you are, leave different than you came, and to expect the unexpected.

What does Bayside have for my family?
Here at Bayside we know that our church is only as strong as the families that attend the services, therefore, we offer all that we can in order to equip your family with the tools to help them live the life that God has intended. We do our very best to meet the needs of the 21st century family and we understand that families today are extremely busy. Bayside strives to help every person in every family to be involved in the life of the church.

For children, newborn to 5 years old, we offer nursery and preschool classes during all of our services. Your babies, toddlers and preschoolers, will love our classes designed and customized for their specific ages. Our teachers and care-givers are some of the best and they will love on your children and teach them the Bible in age appropriate ways.  Our Children’s Church ministry for ages 6-11 year olds, is fun and exciting week to week for your children.

Teenagers are also an extremely vital part of Bayside. They are the future of our families and ministry. Fusion (Jr. High) and Epic (Sr. High) services are geared to the particular needs that young people face in today’s world and offers relevant instruction on how to deal with the issues that they encounter everyday. Packed with high energy praise and worship, fun fellowship, powerful messages, and cool activities, your teenagers won’t want to miss a single service!

We also have lots of things that families can do together as small groups that meet in smaller settings and are built on relationships with other people who share the same interests and situations no matter what stage of life you’re in, or what level you are at in your relationship with Jesus. We do all that we can at Bayside to create a community of believers in Jesus who are strong in their relationships with Christ, and with the people who share life with them.

How can I meet the staff & find out what Bayside is all about?
To find out more about Bayside, get to know some of our staff members or connect to the life of the church, you should attend Bayside’s 101 class. The 101 class is held on the first Sunday of each month. Here you can find out everything there is to know about Bayside. Call the church office at 755.8600 or register online.

How can I meet others and get connected?
The number one way to get connected to the life of the church is to get involved in a Small Group. One of our goals at Bayside is that we want to be big enough to reach the world, but small enough to feel like home. Small Groups are the key to help us do that. Small Groups are where Bayside really happens. You can serve, learn and have fun, but most importantly you’ll get to know people who you’ll be able to share the ups and downs of life with. Whatever you interests, schedule or situation there is a Small Group tailor-made to fit you. » find out more about getting connected.
