Happy 2007 because we are going to Heaven!
I love the start of a new year. It is like you can erase all of your bad habits and start afresh. Well, at least for the first week, anyway. The thing about bad habits is that they come back, again and again. That's what I love about kids, they have not formed many bad habits yet, maybe bad attitudes but not bad habits. As we grow up, we continue these habits and attitudes that we don't like but cannot get rid of.
Light bulb moment - I just remembered, if I simply turn my bad habits and attitudes over to Christ, He will consume them with His blood. This has to be done daily. Paul said, "we must die daily to live" (paraphrased). Just like I tell the kids, as soon as your feet hit the floor in the morning, you should be seeking God for what plans He has for you today. Let's start this year off right by starting everyday off right. See ya!
